Happy 2013!

Happy New Year!

So, I want to hear your New Year's Resolutions.  Do you even do that?  I've gone through the whole "exercise everyday" and "get more organized" types of resolutions.  I usually stick with them for a week or two.  This year, I am going to use a fortune cookie to determine my one and only resolution.  Remember Mike's fun fortune cookie from last summer?  No? Read about it here.

No, I am not getting the terrace haircut, but I likely will get my hair cut this year. That's beside the point, though.  I just intend to let myself loosen up a bit.  I'm not sure what that entails, but I want to live more creatively. Maybe I will start with the front door.

Or maybe I will finally begin learning to play the clarinet. Perhaps I will just do a few things differently from my normal...shop at a different grocery store on occasion, wear a color I've avoided or buy false eyelashes. Any suggestions? Anyone want to join me?

Now, what about you? I hope you will leave comments and tell me if you've made any resolutions.

I think you have already started your do things a little different or loosen up a bit project--re: the mismatched earrings! Of course, we all think you're prit'near perfect anyway.

I gave up really making New Year's resolutions some time ago. Seemed like a way to just set myself up for a guilt trip. If I'm really going to accomplish something, I'd do it anyway. The Resolutions usually involved something I was already failing at, so just added to the guilt. I wish resolutions worked for me, but they don't, sadly.

I like having a New Year beginning to re-evaluate and start over. I have been working on my list and ideas too. I want to loose weight (which is probably on the list of alot of people after all the Christmas goodies), Hubby and I are working on a healthier routine, I am going to reorganize my desk and work space... not new.. it seems like I do that every week, but it feels nice to do it this week too. And I am going to try to put "blog" and "etsy" into a sort of routine or schedule. We'll see. Happy New Year to you and your hubby.
Love and Blessings,
Pam

Like Michelle, I gave up on resolutions. But, I do have a goal to use my talents, however small, to help others and be a good steward of what God has given me. Tina
