The Piano

I have been trying to come up with a good post about pianos.  You see, recently I took photos of our new grand piano at our church.  It's SO pretty!  The photos were taken with my cell phone, so they are not of great quality or anything.  But the piano is just SO pretty!  I just needed a good post about pianos so that I could use the photos on this blog.

First, I looked up the Bible verse about making a joyful noise unto the Lord.  Sure, I could have come up with some words to draw it all together, maybe it could have been a bit of a devotional... but I just wasn't feeling that deep.

Next, I thought about telling you that I took 2 years of piano lessons when I was 12 to 13.  I seemed to pick up on it pretty well and absolutely LOVED it.  My teacher was a high school girl, though, and when she graduated and moved away I chose not to look for another teacher.  That is a decision I still regret.  Yes, I could write about that, but then I'd have all you nice people feeling compelled to encourage me to take lessons again.  No, I don't think my regret is strong enough to properly motivate me so let's not even go there.

So, I guess I am just going to show you the pictures for no reason other than I think they are cool.

And now, for the grand finale.....

I think pianos are awesome...even if I can't really play them.

Love the pix! I took about two years of piano, too! My teacher was older, and went to be with Jesus. After, I traded cleaning house with another lady in the church to teach me, she wasn't like Clara, and doing housework for someone who less than enthusiatic about teaching me - was a back door. I SO wish I would have continued.
Thanks for the pix - they make me happy just looking at them.
