Fresh Mercies Each Morning

I took this photo off our back deck yesterday morning.  My camera and I did not quite capture the full beauty. When I turned and looked out the window, the colors were so magnificent I actually gasped.  A few minutes later it was already dulled, but still pretty.  It made me wonder about all the little moments of beauty that I miss because I forget to stop and look.

Lamentations 3:23

Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.

May your day be filled with moments of unexpected beauty.

Susan....I've just read your comment on my last post (which I've only been able to read in its entirety a few times) and I click over here...and the tears are just streaking my cheeks. Great indeed is His faithfulness...and His mercies are the only reason I'm here. Thank you for a lovely finish to this, it was unbelievably difficult to even sit and visit those memories...I got up and left my desk every ten minutes or so. But recently I was reminded that true healing is only achieved when fear doesn't have a hold. He is bigger than anything I fear...but I had to acknowledge that.

The pictures are lovely...the reminder beautiful. Thank you.

Chantel, I could tell it took all your courage to write that post. Peace be with you.
