Cordelia and the BIG Doll

Cordelia came over Thursday night.

She climbed on ladders (assisted by Grandpa),
played with Playdough,
helped water flowers and vegetables,
bounced on the trampoline,
and jumped off the step stool.

When she was ready to rest she wanted
the BIG Doll.  This is a doll my Mom made for Maria when she
was just a little girl.  Cordy loves to examine her.
She has a bellybutton!
She also has dimples on her knees and that made
Cordy think she had bellybuttons on her knees!

So, they snuggled up with me to watch an episode of
Wonder Pets.  I had to excuse myself from the snuggle
just long enough for the photo.

I love that little girl so much!

What a little treasure she is. It is to beautiful to see the special bond between the two of you. I know how my girls treasure their time with Granny & Gramps, I can only imagine how your little poppet treasures the time with you!

Have a super day. Thinking about you as you prepare for the fair

lotsa love xx

Thanks, Niqui! We're all ready for the craft fair. I think it will be fun. We have something like 200-300 items we've made! I didn't realize we'd stockpiled so much!

I love that your family has so many heirlooms, and so many of them hand-made. What a special legacy for Cordelia!

I hope that the craft fair goes well!

Susan,
SO Cute!! I love those little cabbage patch dolls. My mom made those in the early 80's.
Cordelia is a dolly. Sounds like a super fun time.
