At a park in Sarasota we found this really old looking picnic shelter.
I was charmed by it.
Nearby was the replacement picnic shelter.
See what I mean? Newer is not always better.

The old shelter looks like the sort of things the CCCs were building during the depression. It looks really cool! I hope no busybodies decide it should be taken down.
The old one is gorgeous and I can imagine kids making YouTube videos there and pretending it's a mountain hideaway. :)
