We just returned this afternoon from a trip; we've been gone about 1 week. We were in South Carolina and it was quite an adventure! I've not had time to sort through all my photos yet, but I wanted to post one for a starter. Do you know where this is? Doesn't it look like a castle or a fortress? I will be telling you more about this place when I get caught up.

Yes, I certainly do know where that is. I spent many a summer morning in those bleachers picking my kids up from Summer Leadership Camp. Usually a junior cadet is eligible for two summers there. But all three of my kids were invited back to serve as cadet commanders for two additional years. I have pictures of my daughter on the Quad with my kids commander ranging from the time she was 3 years old until she was 17. I made a progressive collage out of them and gave it to Chief as a parting gift. Hope you enjoyed your trip.
Glad to have you home
I do know where that is...the Man was there last week for a conference too...I wish I had been able to go...we lived in SC for several years...but I never got to go inside the Citadel...I hope you had a good trip...
~Have a lovely day!
Well, I bet your man was at the same conference as us. Maybe some year you and I will go at the same time and get to meet each other in person! I'll post a few photos; perhaps you will see you man in one of them!
Oh wow! I didn't realize we were in your neighborhood!
